Where does one begin… Beck’s home is simply stunning and while I wish for it to remain a hidden gem, she genuinely deserves to get the word out there as The Old Convent (TOC) is unrivalled. We had the most fabulous long weekend for a family wedding at nearby Wallalong House. From our first communication, Beck was friendly and attentive providing me with a long list of local attractions as well as her favourite places to visit in the Hunter Valley on our way to Largs. TOC is magnificent with 4 grand bedrooms, a well appointed fabulous kitchen, a fantastic lounge and outdoor sitting area and the spa in the garden. As soon as we arrived, I knew I wouldn’t want to leave. Our stay at TOC was magnificent but it is Beck that makes it so. From recommendations of a local hairdresser with availability for the wedding day, to a local catering company and butcher for us to order our dinners… honestly I think many hosts could learn a thing or two (and as a prior host, I certainly could!)

I've recently hosted an event for overthinking women at The Old Convent and it was the most perfect location. Beck was so helpful and went out of her way to ensure my event was a success. My guests loved The Old Convent and could feel the calming, beautiful vibe as soon as they walked through the door. Everything I needed was at the venue - I didn't need to take anything which was so good. I've rebooked events for next year because the venue for me provided the exact space I was looking for. Thanks again Beck for being so helpful and accommodating. I've recommended The Old Convent to everyone!!!

The Old Convent is a beautiful, stately home that simply oozes charm from every original feature and the little extras that have been added for modern comfort. I have run an art workshop from this venue and it is the perfect setting to welcome guests to my class. The location in Largs is easy to find, quiet and easy parking. I'll be offering art workshops in 2023 with your host Rebecca and we look forward to welcoming you to this historic home.

We loved this place! It is beautifully decorated with only the best quality linens and decor. It was so relaxing having everything we needed for our girls weekend. We only left once to go out for dinner so the rest of the time we hopped in the spa or sat around just enjoying each others company. Can’t wait to go back! Oh and the host Bec was amazing too!!
